Hotel Restaurant Zum Taunus in Eppstein

Ordered takeout for the second time: Roast beef and the lightly fried schnitzel. Fantastic! The meat was cooked medium rare as I requested and the wine pairings were on point. Highly recommend. I’ll keep working my way through this excellent menu.

Great Restaurant from the TV Cook

It was probably one of the best places i ever stayed and if i ever am in germany for some unknown reason near that area without a doubt i would stay there again. I can not think of 1 thing that was bad about this place 100/5

The atmosphere and food was fantastic. I had the mother in law in town and we wanted a nice restaurant to take her to, and this was spot on. The staff was very friendly and the menus are in German and English. Highly recommend it for a nice cozy dinner.

I am happy that we chose the Reussenstein Hotel for our extended stay. The owner and staff are all about guest satisfaction from hotel accommodations to all the little things that just make your stay easier. Recommend😀

A pleasant, confortable, friendly hotel. A 10 minute easy walk from the Böblingen train station or take the 723 bus from the adjacent bus station. Also a taxi rank is opposite the top of the stairs of the station. The excellent breakfasts at the hotel can be taken in the excellent restaurant of the same name immediately opposite the hotel orin your room. A pleasant indoor/outdoor lounge bar is adjacent to the hotel réception with more shady tables and chairs at the top of a short stair.

Good selection of local food. The local "variety" dish is a nice way to sample the goodies of the restaurant and is enough for two people.

Fine dining at its best. Perfect ambience for celebrations.

Staying in one of their apartments for a few months. This place is fantastic! The hospitality is amazing. The restaurant is delicious! Highly recommend.

I was lucky enough to have a seat the bar and had a great overview at the kitchen. I couldn't miss out on the following facts. Waitress and waiters were trained really well. One of the cleanest kitchens. Even though the options for vegetarian is restricted, they would still make a great impression. Beetroot carpacio was delicious. Wine selection was really good and the wine guide was really good. 💯% schwäbisch and top place to visit

We only ate at the restaurant so I cannot speak for the hotel. The food was delicious. The prices are on the higher end but the food was well worth it. My husband had the venison mix plate and I had the trout. The atmosphere was also slightly casual so there was no stuffiness about it. Our meal for two with shared dessert was a little under 100 euros. You must make reservations ahead of time. This place always seems busy.

Sorry, only made a picture if dessert as I was wayyyyys to busy enjoying everything else 😂 If you like swabian good with a modern twist the Reusenstein is must. Prices are on the higher side but absolutely worth for the food you are being served. Never have been disappointed there. Great food, great service, make for a great experience. Be warned, many people like the Reusenstein so you need to go ahead and reserve a table.

An excellent restaurant with extremely friendly staff. Timo Böckle and family run the hotel and the restaurant. Parking is sparse, but not terrible. Seating is good, but make a reservation before coming... even on a weeknight. Prices are higher, but worth it. They specialize in steaks and they tout "100% Schwäbisch" food. There is also a cooking school here as well.

A must stay !!! Incredible staff and overall service. Rooms very comfortable and cozy. Restaurant equally impressive. Already planning to return to Reussenstein on next visit.

Wonderful location, staff, rooms and food! Everyone is friendly and professional - answer questions you may have about the local area and give directions if you want to go somewhere. The service and food is excellent!

The food is par none. I literally melted at the flavor of everything. The staff is professional while being welcoming and friendly and borderline family. I had the pleasure of booking a long term facility with a kitchen that belonged to the owners and I felt so at home and welcomed. Then I moved into the main hotel without kitchen amenities but next door to the restaurant. This excited me and The chef gives classes for some of his most renowned dishes. The hotel provides a courtesy transportation if signed up the day prior. It is near downtown Böblingen where lots of shops, eateries and pleasant sights can be experienced. Public transportation is a great benefit from this location. I would recommend staying here.

This is one of the most peaceful and relaxing hotels we have ever stayed at. We stayed at the hotel for 3 weeks. From day one the ladies at the front desk were so helpful. They provided us with two room. One room was to sleep in with the family, and the other room was to store all our stuff. The restaurant is beyond wonderful. They provide a well balanced breakfast. The only thing is that if you wish to eat there for dinner, make sure you make reservation before hand. If ever needed we will most definitely stay there again!

Absolutely amazing hotel with restaurant. I've been there 2 times already, both were travelling for business purpose, but I was feeling there like if I was at vacation. By that I would recommend to everyone. Perfect breakfast, clean rooms very kind people and workers (especially at reception). I'm looking forward to another visit.
